HeadsUp: Rak Pathiharn

If you’re not watching Rak Pathiharn (Love Miracle), then perhaps this simple HeadsUp can convert you! It may not be that hot-and-cute-every-second sale like Game Rai Game Rak, but it’s not one to miss. Rak Pathiharn stars  “Smart” Krissada Pornweroj and “Kim” Kimberly Voltemas. Yes, there’s a 10+ years age difference, but then…godninja like!

Let’s start with a summary. Rak Pathiharn is also based on a novel like GRGR.  Nichamon Chutiman (Kim “Kimberly Voltemas) lost her parents and returns to Thailand to seek her grandparents to apologize in turn of her mother. Along the way, several unlucky events leads her into pretending to be housekeeper Pranom Sponserb in the Nareusorn Farm and discovers a vicious feud between the two neighboring farms rooted in Chaiburathut (“Smart” Krissada Pornweroj).  Because Thut saw a signed document exchange between his father and the neighboring Sonalai farm owner, he believes that the Sonalais are responsible for swindling money from his dad and ultimately driving his dad to his death. Nichamon  finds out that her grandfather died three years ago, so she takes up her housekeeper identity to find a way to meet her grandmother. Pimnareumon (“Mint” Chalida Wijitwongtong) and Rawipaat (“Alex” Alexander Rendell) of the separate feuding farms like each other but must guard their hearts. As Nichamon gets thrown into the mix, she starts to help Paat’s and Nammon’s love along with investigating about her grandmother but Thut proves to be the biggest road block. [Fia’s awesome summary smash with godninja’s simplicity.]

I’m delighted that there’s a Miracle of Love viki channel. Check it out! Many AFers and particularly Fia dislike Smart because of his stiff acting. Fia calls Smart a “tree”. I, on the other hand, enjoy him. I prefer Smart over many other pra’eks; plus he won me over in Mae Ka Khanom Wan. I like Rak Pathiharn A LOT. The OST is damn soothing. A song waiting for a love miracle to happen, I tell you. I do indeed recommend Rak Pathiharn. I’m definitely going to do snippets on the hopefully willingly scene [if there’s one] and the finale, plus I will review it too!

By now, you know juicinesses are coming.

Afterwards…?

Rough manhandling…?

 I’m excited!

Godninja: The other day, I was on LG at a public computer lab at my university, and one of my tight girlfriends walked up on me. She thought I was at a porn site! I was WTF! She kept teasing me about it, so then I quickly logged off as the admin and introduced her to the site, totally defending how innocent I [and LG] is. She gave me hecka weird looks. Yeah, she’s not the kind that gets lakorns. During the tour, I realized how horny porny LG got. The abs wallpaper background, the sexy Chompoo-look alike right up on top, and further down there are 18+ scenes. Damn, I have one thing to say…LakornGods is looking good!

Additonal remark: Many people do say smart krissada acting skill is stiff, however over the years, he has improved significantly and I believe will getting better and better down the road.

Keep it up! You can make it….

I had watched Thai drama for over 30 years and I am very picky in term of the drama that I watch, but I would say Rak Pathiharn is one of the best dramas ever watched. The casting, fashion, interior design of the house, the chemistry between each actors/actress and the story lines just go naturally and in a very winning way…

I would like to say “Good Job” to all the crew member of this team, all the actors/acresses for working so hard to bring such a good work to cheer up my days….I look forward to watch this lakorn every week…

    Good Job!

  6. Redbean says:

Yea, I always enjoy Mart’s drama too. I definitely won’t miss this. Need to wait for more episodes before starting watching it. ^^

  7. yaso says:

Ah…I want to like Mart, but I think he’s better suited for rom-coms! Dramas are not his thing. I mean I watched the first few episodes of this drama, and man all the constant yelling from him…it was just not done well…I was a bit more annoyed by the yelling rather then seeing Mart’s character as a stern, unreasonable, proud man…which I assume is what his character is supposed to be.

Now, let’s talk about Alex…way, way better acting…I mean he does mean and playful so well. This is my first time watching him, and between him and Mart, I’d pick Alex. I think if he was just a bit older, I think he’d carry off the older brother role very well.

Here’s to Mart, just keep trying…oh, I WANT to like you so much!

  8. Kiki says:

Lol@ smart being a tree, but I rather like him as well. And I’m in class reading yhis and could not help a pretty loud burst of laughter at them end comments! Yes LG is a great site indeed!

  9. Fia says:

I want to kiss you for shortening it up. Sometimes I’m waay too wordy. To be honest, I haven’t seen any of Mart’s lakorn aside from RP so I’m hoping he improves? I guess we all have different preferences in pr’eks. I’m going to credit the word “tree” to J 🙂

ROFL- LG porn site! Godninja, you are hysterically funny as always.

LOL, you really crack me up. Love your sense of humor!

I also agree with you. Many people say that Smart has stiff acting, but I don’t mind. He won me over in Mae Ka Khanom Wan as well and I just loved him in that. Now I have a soft spot for him. Personally, I think romantic comedy is his thing, but he does a lot of angry/serious/mean-but-a-big-softie-at-heart roles. Oh well, as long as I get to see him, I’m happy~

I haven’t given up on Rak Pathiharn yet, I find myself enjoying watching Kim and Smart together, although most of their scenes so far are repetitive…I’m waiting for those “special” moments between those two. I like the cast, the colors/location, and clothing. I am FOREVER grateful for the makeup/hair/costume designer(s) for Mint, I think she is drop-dead gorgeous in here. She looks so beautiful, loving everything about her, especially her hair styles. If only it was like this in Pathapee Leh Ruk~ I also love the OST, put it on repeat heehee.

**Just found out about LG yesterday, and I LOVE IT!

  13. R. Tan says:

Ahahaha on your last comments. Sometimes I do try to watch some lakorn in between classes at the library but I have to remind myself to be cautious of potential “R-scenes” in case someone is watching from behind ahahahha…

I know a lot of people give Mart crap about his acting and I know he hasn’t improved much over the series of lakorns that he has done. But I guess I am less harsh on him than others and still watch most of his lakorns because I know he didn’t grow into the entertainment industry – someone just discovered him and threw him into a lakorn. Also, the man was schooled to be an architect/designer, not an actor.

Anyways, I enjoy Rak Pathiharn thus far – the scenes, actors, actresses… although the main plot of the story (her finding her relatives) is moving along slowly, it still grabs me to wanna watch the next episode. But maybe also it’s because I’m not into the GRGG craze and need something else to watch.
